Reef Agency has been an integral part of Toronto’s Rosé Picnic since its inception and when SYNR.G Cannabis approached Reef earlier this year to develop the strategic launch of the brands’ Instagram we saw an incredible brand alignment opportunity. Each year the Rosé Picnic draws in 5000 of Toronto’s VIPs for a day of luxury activations, social media sharing, al fresco dining and of course rosé sipping. This year’s Picnic was a tremendous success presenting incredible social media opportunities for all brands and influencers in attendance. As cannabis was set to become legal in Canada on October 17th, SYNR.G Cannabis wanted to start the conversation around legalization early, solidifying the brand as a marketplace option prior to launch. The Reef Team identified The Rosé Picnic as the perfect place to start that conversation and launch the brands Instagram handle. We used a multi-engagement activation approach to provide multiple opportunities for social engagement and brand growth. We successfully targeted event goers throughout the entire space with memorable experiences that allowed for reps to have quality interactions, driving social buzz towards the newly launched @synrgcannabis handle.  Popular and trendy incentives included a calming terpene infused popsicle, premium DIY friendship bracelets (in silver, gold or rose gold) and a widely photographed branded floral doorway vignette. The SYNR.G Cannabis branded floral photo wall was the perfect Insta-worthy moment at Rosé Picnic. Line-ups formed to take photos with the elegantly designed wall which featured a  branded Synr.g sign, draped fresh pink and white florals and garland. We strategically placed the branded popsicle cart alongside the line-up which allowed our reps to engage with attendees who eagerly signed-up to follow and learn more about the brand. The wall made a splash on Instagram and social media with many people tagging @Synrgcannabis and using the event hashtag to share their experience.
